My name is Steven Saporito; I’ve been working in the technology field for over 20 years. I’ve been at my current position, as a senior messaging & automation engineer at a prominent law firm for 11+ years. For the 10 years prior I worked various roles in the finance industry.
With a lot of conflicting priorities I naturally gravitated toward automation. Initially automating just helped me get my job done, but I gained a real passion for it. Initially my primary tool was VBScript, but through Exchange 2007 I gained early exposure to PowerShell. Once PowerShell 2.0 was released, I was hooked, and began working and automating almost exclusively in it.
My technology career has been very rewarding; there’s nothing quite like the process of understanding and solving problems. This is especially true when you can quickly write automation code that contributes to the success of the whole organization. PowerShell has become ubiquitous and indispensable in my work, and I’ve come to say anything & everything is PoSh-able!
I started this blog to share what I’ve learned, what I think, and hopefully continue learning from others. It’s my sincere hope that I can give back to the community that’s been instrumental in my success.
